The milk collection centre aims to promote milk in Niger and has enabled the development of an innovative multi-service farmers' collection centre solution.
The important elements of the model are indeed the following :

- multi-services (collection and/or processing, milk marketing + feed supply + technical advice) and not only collection

- peasant governance

- a centre based on a production basin (identified as the one with the greatest potential)

- downstream link with an industrial company (demand for local milk in quantity and quality)

- collecting and or processing in order to reach a larger number of farmers

- to improve and diversify women's incomes

- strengthens the resilience of small-scale pastoralists in relation to traditional pastoralism, through regular income for the people
