This is a very attractive site. However, the technology images can be improved to be more illustrative and of better quality.
This platform is an opportunity to promote innovative West African agricultural technologies. It deserves to be well popularized in order to make all these innovations better known. It represents an invaluable source of contribution to agricultural development in all countries of the sub-region.
The Agricultural Innovation and Technology Marketplace is a showcase of all that is good and best in agricultural innovation. With detailed explanations supported by figures, this is a complete site. It is also an excellent opportunity for cooperation between research centers on the African continent.
I think the establishment of the Marketplace for Agricultural Innovation and Technology (MITA) is a good thing. Beyond the fact that it will allow innovators in the African agricultural world to make themselves known, it will also allow them to exchange innovative ideas that will revolutionize the agricultural sector of the continent.
It's always important to have sites like this that allow us young people to better understand the aspects related to this agricultural sector. I think the platform has really come at the right time that will allow us to be more interested in it.
It is interesting to have a platform like the Agricultural Innovation and Technology Marketplace. This site gives visibility to agricultural innovators and allows agricultural entrepreneurs and us agricultural enthusiasts to see the commendable efforts that are being made across the continent and especially in our West African sub-region. More and more, the promise of sustainable agriculture is becoming a reality. Bravo to all those who are working on this project.
This website is a reflection of the characteristics of the market for agricultural innovations and technologies. And I think that the various CNS training modules on artificial insemination, the use of soil micro-organisms to increase agricultural production, and the training on aquaculture will enable African youth to engage in entrepreneurship to optimise crops and solve the problem of food self-sufficiency in Africa.
The Market for Agricultural Innovation and Technology (MITA) is an excellent initiative in my view. Its digital paradigm is relevant, given the trajectory of our current civilisation. We are indeed moving towards an increasingly digital and connected world. The challenge now, in my opinion, would be to involve the rural environment more effectively as it remains the agricultural market base of nations.
MITA has the advantage of bringing together in a single platform a range of technologies and know-how from our research institutes and also from the private sector. With free and user-friendly access and the possibility of interacting with several actors, it also makes it possible to maintain a technology watch in agricultural research and development.
MITA as a technology exhibition and discovery space can play a very important role in the virtual demonstration of technologies and innovations to boost scale-up and adoption. However, to achieve this goal, a well-developed and aggressive communication strategy around the MITA platform will be required.
A place that is accessible from anywhere, such as an electronic platform, where technologies and innovations are displayed and information is provided, is undoubtedly a secure means of disseminating these technologies and innovations. This is what MITA is trying to achieve by enabling dialogue and exchanges around these agricultural technologies and innovations for their better appropriation and use by the recipients.
