There remains a good deal of predictive and advisory research outputs that have over the time remained as publications in journals and databases.
The farming community and other stakeholders who can benefit from these research findings do not have access to such useful information at all or do not have them in readily consumable forms.
As a solution, the CSIR’s DAIH hosts a set of reliable and easy to use integrated web & mobile based platforms aimed at knowledge sharing, technology transfer, market linking and assisting the Agriculture sector with innovative and cutting edge solutions that can be adopted to the real needs of local farmers and other value chain actors.

The CSIR technologies portal showcases all developed technologies by scientists and technologists within the CSIR. The platform is dynamic allowing Scientists and Technologists to continually update the general public on new technologies and upgrades to existing technologies.

Limits of the technology :
Internet based solution and hence requires internet connection for use. This limits its use in rural communities where internet connection is not accessible.
