Technical characteristics of the technology :
Breeding improvement crosses of the local breed of hen with the broiler strain. The first offspring (F1) will be distributed to breeders in rural areas. The crossbreeding will continue on station to better evaluate the performance of the crossbreeds.The same process will be followed for guinea fowl. Breeders have been trained in improved rearing techniques.
